Oh no, another food blog!
Yes, the internet is indeed chocked to the rafters with photos and fervent writing about everything edible, so that begs the question why add to that already crowded sphere and also does the internet have rafters?
I can’t answer the second one, that’s beyond me but as for why I’ve decided to talk about food online the answer is this. I eat. I enjoy eating and most importantly I enjoy making food. Not just any food mind you, specifically baked food.
Sweet or savoury (but mostly sweet) there is something magical in the baking process
Magic, yes magic in the combing of seemingly random ingredients and the application of heat which results in something delicious and so much more than a sum of its parts.
Now this is not to say I am any kind of expert, we have a lot of those, no I am an enthusiastic amateur and I think that this is important. I won’t get everything right and learning from other peoples mistakes saves the time it takes to make them all for yourself.
I’ll be sharing recipes, trials and triumphs in the kitchen, hints, tips and anything else that seems like a good idea.
